Select Universal Orlando Resort hotels will reopen June 2, implementing what the company describes as "a wide range of new and enhanced best-practice health, safety and hygiene procedures."
Hotels that are reopening are: Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal's Aventura Hotel and Universal's Endless Summer Resort -- Surfside Inn and Suites.
Guests of these properties will be able to visit the attraction's theme parks -- Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal's Volcano Bay -- on June 3 and 4 before they reopen to the public on June 5.
Reopening plans for Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and Universal's Endless Summer Resort -- Dockside Inn and Suites have yet to be announced.
The hotels are co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co., which has instituted safety protocols including temperature checks for employees and guests, enhanced cleaning procedures and contactless services such as express checkout and room deliveries.
Universal Orlando's CityWalk dining and shopping venue began its partial reopening May 14.
