Virgin Hotels has opened its third hotel, in Nashville.
Located in the Music Row neighborhood, the Virgin Hotels
Nashville has guestrooms that feature two distinct spaces -- a dressing-room
area with vanity and a lounge area with bed and built-in window seating -- separated
by a sliding door.
Guestrooms are also outfitted with a red Smeg mini-fridge,
high-definition TV and yoga mat.
The Pool Club is an indoor-outdoor bar and restaurant
perched on the 14th floor. The Funny Library Coffee Shop is located on the
hotel’s first floor. An outpost of Virgin Hotels’ flagship Commons Club
restaurant, bar and lounge is due to open this fall on the first floor near the
property’s main entrance.
Concurrent with Virgin Hotels Nashville’s opening, Virgin
Hotels has released an upgraded version of its mobile app, Lucy. Lucy’s latest
version allows guests to access digital room keys, order room service and check
out as well as control lighting, thermostats and TVs via their own mobile
Virgin also has hotels in Chicago and Dallas. The brand plans
to open hotels in New York, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Miami and Edinburgh.
