Virgin Limited Edition, Virgin Group's collection of retreats, will add a new hotel near Marrakech, Morocco.
Slated to open in the first quarter of 2027, the unnamed luxury hotel will be set within a 25-acre private agricultural estate. Construction is underway to create the hotel's 37 suites, which are inspired by Moroccan craftsmanship and Berber traditions. A residential component is in the pipeline, Virgin said.
Bookings open in September in anticipation of the opening of the hotel's first 22 suites. The final 15 suites are due to follow in the first quarter of 2028, Virgin said.
The estate is a 25-minute drive from central Marrakech and one hour from Virgin Limited Edition’s other hotel in Morocco, Kasbah Tamadot, which is in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
Virgin said the estate's farm will supply citrus, olives and vegetables to the hotel's restaurants. A Moroccan wellness facility will have a hammam and swimming pool.
Plans call for a range of sport and recreation activities: tennis, padel, horse riding and yoga. Plus, there will be a curated program of cultural experiences.
