The Westin Bonaventure, Los Angeles’ largest hotel, completed the most extensive renovation in its 35 years in operation.
Westin parent Starwood Hotels & Resorts didn’t disclose the cost of the renovations, which included improvements to guestrooms and the hotel's 110,000 square feet of meeting space.
The Bonaventure, which is made up of a group of cylindrical glass towers, was designed by hotel architect John Portman and included futuristic touches as a revolving cocktail bar on the 34th floor when the hotel opened in 1976.
The hotel has been featured in movies such as “Mission Impossible III,” “Hancock” and “This Is Spinal Tap.”
