Abercrombie & Kent has created an Egypt itinerary specially designed for women.

Highlights of Egypt, with a single departure on Oct. 30, is a nine-night trip that will focus on the role women play in ancient and modern-day Egypt.

"More and more women are trading in their business cards for passports," A&K said in a release. "They want to travel with intelligent, like-minded women who share their passion for meaningful travel experiences. A long-anticipated trip takes on new depth and meaning when it includes a special woman in your life, whether mother, daughter, mentor or long-time friend."

Travelers will visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities with female Egyptologist Hala El Sayed. They will also take a four-night cruise aboard Sun Boat IV to Luxor and to the Temple of Hatshepsut, ancient Egypt's first female pharaoh. Onboard there will also be a cooking class with the executive chef and henna painting in Aswan.

Travelers will also experience private lessons on the art of belly dancing and a guest lecture by Egyptologist Manal Saad on women in Egypt.

According to A&K, the highlight of the trip will be dinner with Jehan Al Sadat in her Nile-side villa. The widow of former president Anwar Al Sadat is scheduled to talk about the Middle East peace process, and share photographs and mementos from her late husband's time in office.

Highlights of Egypt includes three nights at the Mena House Oberoi on the Giza Plateau; a spa treatment; most meals; the four-night cruise aboard Sun Boat IV with unlimited Egyptian wines, beer and soft drinks; and two nights at the Sofitel El-Gezirah Cairo.

The price for the itinerary starts at $6,995 per person, double occupancy.
