Abercrombie & Kent announced new itineraries for its Luxury
Small Group Journeys and Family Journeys.
The new trips, which will launch in 2017, expand the company’s
portfolio of small-group luxury tours capped at 18 guests and family tours
capped at 24.
“Abercrombie & Kent’s Luxury Small Group Journeys are about experiencing a destination
in the most authentic and rewarding way possible. Limited to just 18 guests, we
include the finest luxury accommodations — places that typically don’t accommodate larger groups,” said A&K President Phil Otterson.
Among the new Luxury Small Group tours are “Scandinavia: Stockholm, Copenhagen & Oslo”
(10 days from $8,995), which includes a Norwegian cooking class at Mathallen
Food Hall and a visit to Sweden’s oldest town, founded in 980; and “Thailand in
Style” (12 days from $7,995), which takes guests to cultural hub Chiang Mai, the
Phi Phi Islands and a floating market.
“Family Japan” (nine days from $9,795) features a ride on a bullet
train and a taiko drumming lesson, while “Family Peru” (nine days from $5,995)
includes a sunrise visit to Machu Picchu and a chance to swim with sea lions at
the Palomino Islands.
Other new Small Group Journeys include “France: From Paris to
Provence” and “Family Kenya & Tanzania Safari.”
Also new from A&K for 2017 is a partnership with Emirates
to offer clients bound for Africa, Asia and the Middle East a
three-day stopover package in Dubai. The package includes preferred pricing on
business or first-class airfare and accommodation at the Four Seasons at
Jumeirah Beach (from $1,995) or the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah (from $3,295).
