Adventures by Disney will expand its 2027 portfolio in Europe and Asia with the addition of two itineraries and one revamped tour.
The tour operator will add one program in Thailand and one in Croatia and Slovenia, along with a reimagined visit to Italy. The trips will be led by adventure guides and include special experiences for children, known as "junior adventurers."
Bookings open May 15.
Kyle Raser, Adventure by Disney's senior manager, said that the team was immediately drawn to the rich histories and vibrant cultures found in these destinations.
The 10-day Thailand itinerary includes exploring the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya, taking a cooking class in Chiang Mai and visiting an elephant sanctuary in Phuket. Raser called the trip "truly a feast for the senses," adding that guests will have a private experience at a tea plantation picking tea leaves.
The brand's Croatia and Slovenia trip will take guests on an eight-day journey through the two countries, where they will experience a Central European holiday. Itinerary highlights include a tour of Ljubljana Castle, visiting the island church in Lake Bled and kayaking in Dubrovnik.
One experience that Raser highlighted is the opportunity to sample honey in Slovenia, where beekeeping is prominent. Another is an exclusive opportunity to hike to Velika Planina, where herdsmen and their cows live during the summer.
"Adventurers of all ages will discover their inner explorer as they encounter lands once ruled by Greeks, Romans, Venetians and Serbians with each leaving their indelible mark on the architecture and culture," he said.
New additions to the guest-favorite Italy itinerary are hands-on culinary experiences on the Amalfi Coast and visiting the Herculaneum, which was once buried in ash after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The eight-day trip also features Sicily and Mount Etna.
"We've been able to share the stories of Sicily over the past few seasons and chose to invite adventurers to experience even more of Italy," said Raser.
