Custom tour operator Avanti Destinations has launched Insider Tours, providing small-group walking tours in major European cities.
Avanti will lead the walking tours on Monday and Thursday between May and October in London; Paris; Rome; Florence; Venice; Barcelona; Dublin and Edinburgh, Scotland. Prices range from $60 to $140 per person.
The experience lasts two to three hours and is guaranteed, even if just one person books.
The tours showcase the highlights of major cities. For example, in Florence, travelers will visit the heart of the city, from Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio, to the Duomo and Giotto's bell tower. The guide will focus on art and architecture, and participants will be able to sample cheese, cold cuts and Chianti.
On the Barcelona tour, the guide will lead clients through the historic Gothic Quarter, including plazas like Placa Del Rei, Placa Sant Jaume, Cathedral of Barcelona and Santa Maria del Mar.
