Ireland specialist CIE Tours added Sicily
to its portfolio of destinations for 2007 with the introduction of
a one-week escorted tour.

and Scotland to the American market, and introduced Italy in 2006
in response to consumer demand, according to CIE President Brian

to go to some of these new destinations with us.
CIE also is adding
river cruising on the Danube with a stay in Prague to its 2007
line. The program is being offered through Amadeus
The itinerary of
CIEs new Sicily tour includes stays in Taormina, Palermo and
Agrigento; a wine tasting in Marsala; and visits to the Benedictine
Abbey of Monreale, the Valley of the Temples, the slopes of Mt.
Etna, and the Neapolis Archaeological Park Greek Ruins in the
ancient city of Syracuse.
Departures will be
offered on select Saturdays between Feb. 17 and Dec. 22.
The six-night tour
is priced at $898 per person, double, land only; with roundtrip air
included, it starts from $1,529 from New York (Kennedy) or Boston,
or from $1,656 from Chicago (O'Hare).
The price includes
first class hotel accommodations; buffet breakfasts daily and most
dinners; services of an English-speaking tour director; sightseeing
program via air-conditioned motorcoach; admissions to all
