Tour operator Collette has named Jaclyn Leibl-Cote president
of the company.
Leibl-Cote is the daughter of Collette CEO Dan Sullivan Jr. The
company is grooming her to eventually succeed Sullivan Jr. as CEO.
Leibl-Cote would be the third generation of the Sullivan
family to occupy the role of Collette CEO.
She started at Collette in 2005 working in the mailroom.
Since then, Leibl-Cote has occupied many roles within the company, including in
sales, working as a tour manager and tour designer, and most recently as the
executive vice president of product strategy and delivery.
"Jaclyn's promotion is significant not only to
Collette, but to the travel industry as a whole," Sullivan Jr. said in a
statement. "As a female president,
she is one of very few women occupying senior leadership roles in the travel
industry and serves as an inspiration to others."
Leibl-Cote is scheduled to make the opening remarks this
Friday during the second day of Collette's 100th anniversary event taking place
June 21 and 22 in Providence, R.I.
