MIAMI -- Introduced last winter, Far & Wide Travel Corp.'s
France program exceeded its revenue projections by 50%, according
to company executives.
The newly released brochure for 2003-2004 includes a number of
additions, including the following.
• France by Rail is a package that includes two nights'
accommodations in Paris, a four-day (or seven-day) rail pass, daily
breakfast and two or more nights accommodations from a selection of
hotels in France. Itineraries are put together to fit the
customer's needs through Far & Wide's France By Design
• French Villas are available at a cost of $700 to $2,000 per
unit total cost for two people. Villas for four are available for
$1,000 to $5,000 per unit. Roundtrip air from New York starts at
$448 per person.
• A Fly & Drive package includes roundtrip air from New York
to Paris and returning from Nice; three nights in Paris, three in
Aix-en-Provence and three in Nice; a one-way TGV train ticket from
Paris to Aix-en-Provence, a six-day manual transmission car rental
and daily breakfast. Prices start at $1,359 per person, double.
• A London & Paris package includes three nights
accommodations in each of the two cities; air transportation from
New York to London and Paris to New York; a one-way second class
Eurostar ticket from London to Paris and daily breakfast. It's
priced from $1,099 per person, double.
• Spain, France and Italy, an escorted tour with 16 nights
hotel, 16 breakfasts and dinners, with visits to Madrid, Zaragoza
and Barcelona, Spain; Aix-en-Provence; Monte Carlo, Monaco; Pisa,
Florence, Rome, Assisi and Venice, Italy; the Alps; Lake Geneva,
Switzerland; and Paris, with all transportation. The price starts
at $2,289 per person, double.
• A Cruise & Land package is offered with a choice of two
itineraries along either the French Riviera or the Italian Riviera.
The package includes two nights accommodations in Nice, France, and
a seven-night Star Clipper cruise with all meals on board. Prices
start at $2,459 per person, double.
