LITTLETON, Colo. -- Globus combines American history with the
perennially popular fall foliage-style itinerary in its Historic
East tour through Washington, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
The seven-night itinerary includes a tour of Washington with
scheduled free time in the city and visits to the Arlington
National Cemetery and the Vietnam Memorial; a day trip to Colonial
Williamsburg, Va., and a tour of Thomas Jefferson's home,
Monticello. The land-only price is $1,139 per person, double.
Departures run through Oct. 20.
Globus has more than a dozen other tours that include fall
foliage viewing, including the seven-night Hudson Valley ($1,299),
the seven-night Classic New England ($1,369-1,389) and the 12-night
Eastern U.S. & Canada Discovery ($1,989). All prices listed are
per person, double.
