Koenig is currently Delta Vacations' chief commercial officer. Her promotion is effective May 11.

Winters will join Delta Air Line's marketing department in a leadership role.

Delta Vacations CEO Dwight James praised Winters' work over the last five years and said the new role will enable her to "further the important connection" between the vacation packager and airline.

Koenig, who joined Delta in 2011, will be in charge of Delta Vacations' long-term vision and expanding the product portfolio.

James said Koenig strengthened and grew the sales and product-development teams while chief commercial officer.
