Pleasant Holidays is the latest in a string of operators to partner with the American Queen Steamboat Company to offer sailings in 2013 on the recently relaunched 436-passenger paddlewheeler American Queen.

Both Tauck and Avalon Waterways will also be selling American Queen sailings next year.

Pleasant Holidays will sell more than 40 American Queen departures, with sailings slated between Feb. 7 and Dec. 28.

Voyages will include Upper Mississippi cruises between St. Louis and Minneapolis; Lower Mississippi cruises between New Orleans and Memphis; and Ohio and Tennessee River cruises visiting Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, St. Louis and Chattanooga.

The American Queen Mississippi cruises include shore excursions; three onboard meals daily with wine and beer with dinner; nightly entertainment and dancing; and daily lectures by river historians.

Pleasant Holidays also sells air and car rentals to connect passengers with the Mississippi cruise departure ports.
