Yankee Leisure Group has inked a multiyear partnership with
the National Park Foundation, whereby NPF will receive a portion of the revenue
from the company’s national parks bookings.
The donation commitment comes with the National Park Service
celebrating its 100th anniversary next year.
Yankee Leisure Group — operator of the Amtrak Vacations, Yankee
Holidays and Unique Rail Journeys brands — has created a ‘Park Adventures’ logo that
will be featured on all of its national park itineraries, in the brochures and
on the websites, indicating that a portion of the trip will be donated to NPF.
The company offers 55 national park itineraries, including
several new itineraries for 2016 — “Yellowstone to Yosemite by Rail,” “The Great
Southwest” featuring the Grand Canyon and “Rocky Mountains to Yosemite.”
