As the U.S. and Israel continue their attack on Iran, tour operators have paused some Middle East itineraries.

Collette will cancel all departures for one itinerary and two extensions through March 21, said company spokeswoman Amelia Sugerman. The affected itineraries are the company's Dubai extension, Jordan extension and Journey Through Egypt & Jordan tour.

"We will continue to monitor the situation and should changes or cancellations be necessary, we will do so," she said.

Tauck posted a travel update on its website, saying it has canceled all March tours of its Jordan & Egypt: Petra to the Pyramids itinerary. It will also cancel Egypt: Jewels of the Nile through March 15.

Globus had four guests in Amman when the fighting broke out. The operator is currently working on alternatives for them to exit Jordan due to closed airspace, said spokeswoman Melanie Born. A handful of guests were traveling through Dubai and rerouted via their airline.

The Globus family of brands (Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways) will cancel all March departures to Dubai, Qatar, Egypt and Jordan. This includes Nile river cruises. Guests will be offered the opportunity to rebook for a future date or receive a full refund.

G Adventures has suspended operations in Jordan, Egypt and Oman up to and including March 22. Trips already underway in Egypt and Jordan will continue as scheduled. The tour operator is working with any traveler that wants to leave the trip early.

Though local teams in Jordan report no issues with operations, Greiner said the flight disruptions and travel advisories have "significantly impacted" travel insurance coverage.

EF World Journeys has postponed its upcoming trips to Jordan and the UAE.

TTC Tour Brands, including Trafalgar and Costsaver, has suspended travel for the rest of the month to Jordan.

Intrepid Travel has canceled its departures through March 31 to Egypt, Jordan, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

Intrepid currently has approximately 200 customers in affected countries, most of whom are in Egypt. Customers in Egypt have the option to continue their tour or leave early. Tours in Jordan will be paused beginning Tuesday, and Intrepid will assist in travelers exiting the country. It has no tours underway in Oman or Saudi Arabia.

This report has been updated with new information throughout.
