Afar Media has partnered with Curacity, enabling Afar to earn commissions on hotel bookings made as a result of its content's influence.

Curacity is a content- and data-driven marketplace that partners with hotels and enables them to measure revenue that comes from publishers' online content via proprietary technology. In turn, the hotels pay commissions on those bookings to Curacity's publishers.

According to Curacity, publishers will receive commissions for offline bookings spurred by their online content within a 12-month window.

"We know we guide our audience's travel decisions; Curacity provides a much-needed solution to help us become more knowledgeable about how Afar's award-winning editorial content leads to bottom-of-the-funnel revenue," said Joe Diaz, co-founder of Afar Media.

Curacity said the Afar deal will expand its reach to close to 10 million monthly users. The New York-based company said it works with "dozens of the most recognized and celebrated hotels."
