CLIA releases latest Travel Agent Advisory Board list

The Cruise Lines International Association named twenty new travel agents to its Travel Agent Advisory Board. Ten TAAB members will stay on for an additional one-year term to ensure continuity.

The board, which was instituted in 2004 to enhance CLIA's educational training and strategic marketing efforts, is manned by members who serve two-year terms and includes professionals from various cruise-selling operations, CLIA said.

"The strategic counsel we receive from TAAB members is invaluable," said Terry Dale, CLIA's president and CEO in a statement. "The voice of the travel agency community is vital to CLIA's strategy going forward. The board's ideas and perspectives have played a significant role in shaping the association's plans, policies and strategies -- both on a day-to-day and big picture level."
