Agents can up their commission for September bookings on Carnival Cruise Line, if they reach required thresholds.

Registration is open on through Aug. 18 for Carnival's "Amp Up Commission Challenge." Commission levels on bookings made from Sept. 1-30 will increase with the number of new, active bookings agents make in the month. Both fully deposited individual bookings and berthed group cabins count.

To earn 11% commission, agents must make four bookings; 12%, six bookings; 13%, 10 bookings; 14%, 15 bookings; and 15%, 21 bookings.

Once the promotion has concluded, agencies will get an email detailing their achievement and, if applicable, their increased commission level for the month.

Agencies in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada that currently earn 10-14% commission are eligible to register for the promotion.

"We appreciate how hard travel agents work to meet booking goals, and with this promotion they'll enjoy the added incentive of reaching a heightened commission level with just a bit of added help from us," said Adolfo Perez, Carnival's vice president of sales and trade marketing.
