Add Conde Nast Traveler to the list of those who think Paris Hilton's faux political message is "totally hot."
Careful viewers of Hilton's online video, a rejoinder to a campaign ad by presidential hopeful John McCain (who depicted rival Sen. Barack Obama as a Paris Hilton-style celebrity), will notice that Hilton uses an issue of Conde Nast Traveler as a prop.
The video of Hilton, clad in a bikini and relaxing in a chaise lounge as she delivers her message, has been a sensation online, where it's been accessed nearly 6 million times on the Funny or Die website, which paid for the "ad."
"And now I want to present my energy policy for America, just as soon I finish this article on where I can fly to get the best tan," Hilton says as she picks up the magazine. (After a quick perusal, the answer turns out to be "Maui.")
As a thank you for her mock ad, Conde Nast Traveler made a mock cover to send to the hotel heiress (see photo at left).
No word yet on whether Hilton, in her parlance, "loves it."
