Travel industry veterans Lindsay Pearlman and Elizabeth Rice will serve as co-presidents of the Ensemble Travel Group, the agency consortium said Tuesday.
Pearlman, who joined Ensemble in 2007, was executive vice president and general manager of Ensemble Travel Group Canada, and has been overseeing both U.S. and Canada operations since Ensemble’s former CEO and president, Jack Mannix, departed in July.
Rice’s most recent position was vice president of marketing for Voyage.tv, which produces travel-destination videos. She has held positions at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, American Airlines, Delta and GetThere.
Rice will be based in New York and Pearlman in Toronto. Ensemble said that "their responsibilities will be on equal footing cross-border in a move to create a truly North American organization."
"This strategy allows Ensemble Travel Group to leverage the synergies between the two countries while still having a senior executive in each to represent the specific needs and interests of members and suppliers in that country," Ensemble said.
