LYNNFIELD, Mass. -- GlobalCare Insurance Services increased customer benefits and agency commissions for purchases of its economy or deluxe plans when made on line at its Web site or in the GDSs.

GlobalCare can be found on the Web at www.globalcare-cocco.com/Agent_Page.htm. The agent bonus pay is 2%.

The increases are as follow: for medical and dental care to $50,000 per person (vs. $10,000 for orders by phone, fax or mail), with a $50,000 policy maximum; for emergency evacuation to $250,000 per person (vs. $50,000) and $250,000 per policy; and for trip delay to $1,000 per person (vs. $750). CSA in July introduced similar increases in coverage for online purchases as well as the 2% commission bonus.

GlobalCare also introduced a 15% discount on premiums for travelers who purchase either plan with an initial trip deposit made within 15 days of departure. Effective with the new plans, policies provide the same coverage for domestic terrorist incidents as they have traditionally provided for foreign travel.

In addition, GlobalCare, henceforth, will cover pre-existing conditions for clients age 81 and older, if they buy the deluxe plan.

Finally, for the first time, the medical and dental coverages are open to clients in Canada.
