After seeing a sizable jump in private villa bookings, Virtuoso has partnered with Luxury Retreats to make its private villas available to Virtuoso members and their clients.

"Over the past year, we've seen demand for private villas reach new heights with a 40% year-over-year increase in bookings, leading us to seek out more products and services to feed this skyrocketing trend," said Albert Herrera, Virtuoso's senior vice president of global product partnerships. "People want to experience destinations as if they're living like residents, not merely tourists, and many times they want seclusion and privacy as well."

Luxury Retreats has over 4,000 homes and villas in hundreds of destinations. Virtuoso members will be offered access to those properties as well as travel credit and the support of Luxury Retreats' team of 400-plus people.

Luxury Retreats provides guests with 24/7 concierge services. Virtuoso clients will receive a concierge credit per rental.

Montreal-based Luxury Retreats was acquired by Airbnb in 2017.
