Michelle McKinney Frymire will become CEO of CWT on May 1, as current CEO Kurt Ekert steps down and moves into a senior advisory role with the agency.
Frymire has been with CWT since 2019, most recently as its president of strategy and transformation and CFO.

Her career before CWT spans more than 20 years. She has held leadership roles at Starwood Vacation Ownership, at Delta Air Lines and at its Delta Technology division and Continental Airlines. Frymire has held senior executive positions at several private equity portfolio companies.
Rick Gage, chair of CWT parent company CTII Holdings, said in a statement that he was pleased Ekert will remain an advisor to CWT, part of the TMC's succession planning. He thanked him for his leadership.
