New York-based Protravel International has opened an office in San Francisco to better serve the Bay Area, its 24th location in the U.S. and the U.K.
Debbie Kessler, who has 15 years of experience in the travel industry, will be the office's branch manager. Kessler was previously working out of Protravel's Beverly Hills, Calif., office.
In addition to its physical offices, Protravel has a network of more than 900 independent contractors.
"Protravel is pleased to now have a formal office space in San Francisco, a market that has been served by our elite group of home-based agents in the area, but one where we see great potential for growth with the addition of this space," president Becky Powell said.
This is the third office Protravel has opened in the past seven months, following offices in Orange County, Calif., and Austin, Texas. The San Francisco office, located at 1160 Battery St., is Protravel's seventh in California, with the others located in Orange County, Beverly Hills, Encino, Sierra Madre, Palm Desert and San Diego.
