Nearly all of Travel Experts' independent contractors had at least some clients traveling this summer despite the pandemic, according to a survey conducted by the agency.
The poll found that only 2% of respondents said they hadn't booked any travel this summer.
Road trips were the preferred method of travel, the survey found, as 46% of respondents said their clients opted to drive; 26% of responding advisors said clients flew on commercial airlines, and another 16% said clients flew on private jets.
Ninety-eight percent of advisors said clients stayed in hotels, while 26% reported they also booked private accommodations.
Around one-quarter (26%) of hotels booked required travelers to have proof of a negative Covid-19 test, Travel Experts found, slightly higher than private accommodations (22%).
