Travel writer Wendy Perrin
features about 70 travel agents and other travel experts on the “Wow List” on
her website, and that number is expected to grow.

Traveler columnist, introduced the Wow List on WendyPerrin.com last fall.
“Wendy’s Trusted Travel Experts” are vetted destination specialists, about whom
readers can peruse a brief profile.
Travelers can click to contact the
expert and read snappily written “Insider’s Guides” in which experts share
their top picks — and why they chose them — for places to stay, where to eat,
best spots for Instagramming and a wealth of other boots-on-the-ground
intelligence.

"The Insider’s Guides make
readers understand what these travel experts can do for them, the value they
can add to trips, the cool things they can arrange,” Perrin said. “They help
travelers learn and understand what these travel specialists can do, how they
can improve a trip, how their knowledge and clout can enhance the traveler’s
trip. The Insider’s Guides should send more travelers to the Trusted Travel
Experts."
Perrin explains on her website how
she chooses experts for the Wow List. Travelers who contact an expert through
Perrin’s website and decide to plan a trip with that expert receive extra
attention, Perrin says.
“You’ll get priority treatment and
benefits that go beyond what the Trusted Travel Expert does for other
travelers,” Perrin’s website says. “You also get entered into my
trip-monitoring service. I’ll automatically watch over the planning of your
trip, and you can reach out to me should any issues crop up.”
