Lanyon, a technology provider for event marketing and meetings management, has acquired Passkey, a supplier of hotel-booking technology for meetings.

Lanyon CEO David Bonnette called Passkey “a natural complement to our solutions that increase revenue for hotels while making meeting and event planners’ lives easier.”

Lanyon called Passkey’s GroupMax technology “the most widely deployed group reservation and optimization technology in the hospitality industry.”

Passkey, based in the Boston suburb of Waltham, has offices in the U.S., U.K. and Singapore.

Irving, Texas-based Lanyon said that its clients include 70% of the Fortune 500.
