Airline-owned ARC has released a new web-based tool, “Smart,” that allows airlines to assess the performance of travel agencies.

Smart allows users to view aggregated sales data and industry benchmarks. Smart has three dashboards: One is an overview of the highest level of data, another displays individual agency trends in charts and tables, and the third provides an agency directory with contact information, ARC said.

ARC said the tool will allow airlines to quickly access data, and use the information to find new revenue opportunities.

“Carriers have long expressed their need for a data-analysis tool that gives them a clear picture of the agency distribution channel and how it is working for them,” said Arun Gupta, director of product management at ARC.
