In an effort to reach more customers, ARC and Northstar Travel Media (Travel Weekly’s parent company) have collaborated to sell their respective air and hotel data products as one solution on the Data Exchange.

The Data Exchange, based in Wales, provides a Web platform for companies to buy and sell data.

Northstar’s database of hotel information will be complemented by ARC’s Agency List File, a listing of ARC-accredited travel locations, and Agency List Pro, which provides information for organizations seeking to identify ARC-accredited agencies selling a specific travel destination during a specific time frame.

Northstar CEO Thomas Kemp called the Data Exchange “a unique distribution channel that exposes our rich and relevant hotel content to an expanded licensing customer base.”
