Sabre is working with Google to develop an artificial intelligence-driven technology platform to help its customers, including airlines, agencies and hoteliers, deliver more personalized content to travelers. 

The technology, Sabre Travel AI, will use Google's AI technology and machine-learning capabilities, combined with Sabre's travel knowledge, to help drive personalized content offers. Sabre said it will create more revenue and growth opportunities for its customers.

"By delivering the right offer at the right time across all relevant channels, they will be positioned to deliver tailored personalization to travelers that should drive higher conversion rates and build traveler loyalty," Sabre said in a news release.

Sabre is currently integrating the technology into "certain products in its existing portfolio, with plans to bring those to market in early 2021," Sabre said.

When Sabre Travel AI is integrated with Sabre's GDS, it will give travel agencies access to more relevant bundled offers, whether their access to Sabre is through Sabre Red 360 or its APIs.

The company anticipates giving its customers the ability to integrate their own proprietary solutions with Sabre Travel AI in the future to help differentiate themselves in the marketplace.

At the beginning of the year, Sabre announced it had partnered with Google for a 10-year partnership in which it would migrate its IT infrastructure to Google Cloud, use Google Clouds' data-analytics tools to enhance products' capabilities and that both companies would use talent and assets from each other to develop future capabilities.
