Vision Airlines has agreed to make its published fares available to agents who use the Worldspan and Apollo GDSs, one week after the low-cost carrier announced its first GDS deal with Sabre.

The Worldspan and Apollo systems are owned by Travelport.

"Travelport’s technology and its key customers were important factors in deciding to partner with Travelport," said David Meers, Vision's COO.

Vision is expanding rapidly following a launch of service to several destinations from Northwest Florida Regional Airport, its base of operations, earlier this year.

The airline flies to 17 destinations from the airport, which is near Florida Panhandle resort cities Fort Walton Beach and Destin. On June 1, Vision plans to add service to Las Vegas; Tunica, Miss.; St. Louis; Fort Lauderdale; and Lafayette, La.
