Las Brisas Acapulco charter cruise takes in cliff-diving show

Las Brisas Acapulco (www.brisas.com.mx) has launched a sunset cruise option to see the famous La Quebrada Cliff Divers. Guests can charter a 39-foot luxury catamaran for four hours during the afternoon, sailing through Acapulco Bay and stopping along the way to watch the legendary divers perform.

Onboard the boat, visitors will have appetizers and cocktails as they sail through the bay. After the show, the cruise takes passengers back to the resort for dinner at Bellavista restaurant.

Rates begin at $313 per night, and a cruise to see the divers can be booked starting from $1,300. There is a package available for $2,550 that includes three nights stay in a private pool casita complete with continental breakfast and one romantic dinner for two plus the cruise.

The La Quebrada Cliff Divers were formed in 1934, and the sons and daughters of those original divers continue the family tradition. The divers perform daily for tourists, jumping off two cliffs, one 40 feet high and the other 80 feet high.
