Maverick Helicopters is unveiling a new wedding package for 2010: Twilight Dream, a matrimonial experience over the Strip in a private helicopter.
The Twilight Dream wedding package features two options. With the standard option, couples are flown directly to the Strip to take their vows. The helicopter makes a double loop above the city's famous megaresorts and downtown Fremont Street Experience.
With the extended option, couples receive an additional 30 minutes of flight time. They initially set out for Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. They then head back toward Las Vegas for the marriage ceremony and a similar, one-and-a-half-loop sightseeing flight over the Strip.
As the name suggests, the helicopter will depart at twilight. "Twilight is a romantic time of day, so it's perfect for such a romantic commitment," said Leanne Semenza, the in-house wedding coordinator at Maverick Helicopters. "With the panoramic views and the spectacular skyline of the Strip, you'll have blissful memories to last a lifetime."
The wedding packages, which are available beginning Jan. 1, include a limousine transfer to and from Maverick Helicopters' terminal, a minister for a religious or civil ceremony, a professional photographer, a bridal bouquet and matching boutonniere and a champagne toast.
