Lifelong adventurers Leslie and Bill McConnell have joined Montana's Triple Creek Ranch as the Relais & Chateaux property's new co-general managers. The duo assumed their posts following careers as importers and wholesalers of fine wool and silk Oriental rugs.

In Sedona, Ariz., Mii amo's Couples: Body and Soul Partners retreat promises to "immerse clients in an exploration of their relationship potential" during a four-night stay. The vacation, Mii amo says, will help clients "rediscover masculine and feminine energy, and its importance for your communication skills to deepen your connection, intimacy and respect for one another."

For clients who'd like to get a bit farther away, Connoisseurs Scotland offers an alternative. Four of its properties, Cringletie House, the Boath House Hotel, Inverlochy Castle and Turnberry Resort, invite couples to replace the standard chocolates and roses found elsewhere with luxuriant bedrooms, candle-lit dinners in Michelin-starred restaurants, in-room massages and the best of champagnes.
Cringletie House, for exmaple, set in the Scottish Borders region, is offering one or two nights in luxury accommodations with its Love Me Tender package.
