By Gay Nagle Myers

Haiti is participating in the ITB tourism trade show in Berlin, March 10 to 14.

Haiti has a booth in the Caribbean Village exhibit, sponsored by the Caribbean Tourism Organization.

CTO, along with other partners, facilitated Haiti’s participation to help stimulate the country's economic recovery.

"By joining the the CTO’s Caribbean Village at ITB, Haiti will be able to reach almost 200,000 visitors to communicate its recovery progress and address the additional support needed as a tourism destination," said Carol Hay, CTO's marketing director for the U.K. and Europe.

H. E. Jean-Robert Saget, Haiti’s ambassador to Germany, will address a workshop on the development of sustainable tourism prospects for Haiti.
