The Azamara Journey’s two-week cruise from Shanghai to Hong Kong departing March 3 has been canceled to fix damage to one of the ship’s two propellers.

Azamara Club Cruises said that floating debris damaged the propeller on Feb. 25.

“Unfortunately, due to time needed to make repairs, it is necessary to cancel Azamara Journey’s next voyage,” the cruise line said on its Twitter feed.

Azamara is contacting customers to discuss the details regarding the canceled sailing.

“It is regrettable that this incident occurred and spoiled our guests’ vacation, but we will do everything we can to assist them from this point forward,” Azamara said.
