NEW YORK -- Premier Cruises Lines' planned New York premiere of the
Big Red Boat II was postponed one week due to a delay in delivery
of parts, company officials said.
Originally scheduled to depart New York June 3 for a seven-day
tour, with ports of call in Newport, R.I.; Boston; Halifax, Nova
Scotia, and St. John, Newfoundland, the Big Red Boat II will
instead launch its new itinerary June 10.
Passengers scheduled for the June 3 cruise will be compensated
with a choice of a seven- or 14-day cruise aboard the Rembrandt; a
three- or four-day cruise on Big Red Boat I, or a seven-day cruise
on Big Red Boat III or will have the option of rescheduling their
cruise on Big Red Boat II for a later date.
Additionally, passengers will be granted a 50% discount on their
choice of any second Premier cruise.
