Carnival Cruise
Line in 2016 will sail more Bermuda cruises than it has in five years, offering
a total of nine voyages on four ships.
A Carnival
spokesman said that the line has offered two or three Bermuda cruises in recent
years, down from the 11 it sailed about a decade ago. The line did increase Bermuda cruises to about 15 in 2011 but sharply decreased them the following year.
“Our guests have
been requesting more Bermuda cruises, so we are more than happy to accommodate,”
the spokesman said.
The Carnival
Pride will sail four five-day cruises from Baltimore (April 10, Sept. 4 and 18
and Oct. 26), and the Carnival Ecstasy will operate two seven-day sailings from
Charleston, S.C. (May 12 and Nov. 5).
Plus, the
Carnival Sunshine will operate two cruises from two ports: a seven-day sailing
departing New York on Oct. 1, and a five-day voyage departing Norfolk, Va., on
Oct. 23.
The Carnival
Victory will sail an eight-day cruise from Port Canaveral, Fla., on May 19.
All cruises will
feature an overnight stay at King’s Wharf.
