New Silversea ship to sail world cruise

Silversea Cruises’ new ship, the Silver Spirit, will embark on a 119-day world cruise during the 2011 season.

The Spirit, slated to debut in January 2010, will make seven maiden calls for the line during the world cruise: Brindisi, Italy; San Sebastian on La Gomera, one of the Canary Islands; Ballycastle, Northern Ireland; St. Helier on Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands; Matarani, Peru; Cooktown in Queensland, Australia; and South Australia's Port Lincoln.
