Oceania opens books on 2012-13 winter cruises

Oceania opened bookings for its winter 2012-13 cruises, including 21 Grand Voyages ranging from 23 to 71 days.

The line’s 1,250-passenger Riviera, which is under construction and due to enter service next year, will operate Caribbean and Panama Canal cruises.

The 684-passenger Regatta will again operate foliage cruises in September and October before cruising to the Caribbean and South America. New ports include Boston and Portland, Maine.

The 1,250-passenger Marina will replace the smaller Regatta on cruises to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, substantially increasing the line’s capacity Down Under.

The 684-guest Nautica will return to Africa and Asia, offering a series of sailings from Singapore to Hong Kong, Singapore to Cape Town, and Hong Kong to Beijing.

Oceania said clients who book back-to-back Grand Voyages can save 5%, receive free prepaid gratuities and a $250 shipboard credit.
