Royal Caribbean International will deploy the Liberty of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas to Europe in 2013.

The line earlier announced that the Independence of the Seas and the Adventurer of the Seas would be based in Southampton, England, for the summer season next year. Additional Europe deployments for 2013 will be announced in the coming weeks, the line said.

Royal Caribbean has 11 ships operating in Europe this summer.

Sailing roundtrip from Barcelona from April through October 2013, the Liberty of the Seas will offer a series of five-night Western Mediterranean cruises, followed by a series of seven-night sailings.

Passengers can choose to embark on a seven-night cruise at Provence (Toulon) or Naples. The interporting option requires passengers to sail the full roundtrip itinerary from their chosen embarkation port.

The Navigator of the Seas will operate seven-night roundtrip itineraries from Rome (Civitavecchia) and in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Serenade of the Seas will sail 12-night Mediterranean/Greek isles and Mediterranean/Venice itineraries, both roundtrip from Barcelona. The Mediterranean/Venice cruise will feature an overnight call in Venice.
