Silversea sales blitz to solicit more than 1,000 agents

By Tom Stieghorst
Deluxe small-ship operator Silversea Cruises will conduct a wide-ranging sales push over the next seven weeks, canvassing more than 1,000 agents in North America.

The campaign, entitled "Operation Crossroads," gets underway Sept. 10.

"This new initiative will allow us to strengthen our relationship and enhance communication with our retail travel partners, particularly those who may not be fully tapping into the lucrative luxury travel market," said Kristian Anderson, Silversea's vice president of sales for North America.

Area sales directors and account executives are scheduled to make walk-in calls throughout their territories, armed with collateral including the just-issued 2013 Voyages brochure, Silversea said.
