St. Maarten fixing damaged cruise pier

Hurricane Earl kicked up waves that have damaged the small cruise pier in St. Maarten.

The St. Maarten Daily Herald reports that some of the steel at expansion joints was lifted by waves. The pier is being fixed.

The large pier is reportedly in good condition for a Friday port call by Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas.
