Vicki Freed, Royal Caribbean International’s senior vice president of sales, trade support and services, will make her way across the U.S. to present “Royal on the Road,” an agent-focused program offering sales training and strategies.
Full-day events in major cities during the coming months will provide sessions about personal branding and marketing/sales plans, along with a “Royal Experience” trade show, collateral and giveaways.
The road show is part of the line’s “Loyal to You Always” campaign rolled out at Vacation.com’s annual conference last week. The conference was held on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas.
The campaign’s goal is to “reaffirm the line’s history of unwavering support for travel agents and ushering in new programs focused on them.”
At the conference, Freed also unveiled Travel Agent Friends & Family Rates, designed to offer more opportunities for travel agents to sail on Royal Caribbean ships.
“Royal Caribbean has and will always be loyal to our valued travel agent partners,” said Freed. “Travel agents are indispensable in our industry, and our emphasis on building relationships through personalized and face-to-face interactions with travel agents is what truly sets Royal Caribbean apart.
“Loyal to You Always is our continuous commitment to support our valued travel agent partners and help them sell cruises more effectively, increase their profits and grow their businesses.”
