Following the launch of the 162-passenger Amabella in May 2011, AMA Waterways plans to launch a sister ship, the Amaverde, later in 2011 at an undetermined date.

Both ships will be primarily chartered for the Australian market, but departures for the North American market will be available October through December 2011.
