Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sun, completed in 2001, is the second megaship for the company. At 848 ft in length and measuring 78,309 gross tons, the ship can take 1,936 passengers at 23 knots. The ship is registered in the Bahamas, its captain is Norwegian, and the 968 crew members are international.
