Select Italy expanded its train-ticketing service to include Italo, Italy's high-speed train network, while continuing to act as an agent for Trenitalia.
Agents can now reserve tickets and seats on all routes on the two principle Italian train operators via SelectItaly.com.
“Italo is a modern bullet train service, with larger train cars, convenient for travelers with luggage, but Trenitalia departs from all the stations and is increasing levels of service and comfort to keep up with the competition,” said Justin Anderson, Select Italy manager of operations and client services.
Italo’s high-speed trains operate between highly traveled segments in Naples, Florence, Venice, Bologna, Rome and Milan, in Club, Prima and Smart classes.
Trenitalia, which serves all stations in Italy, operates Intercity, regional and high-speed trains in first and second class.
