The two Four Seasons resorts on the island of Lanai finished up significant refurbishment projects last month, aimed at refining both properties’ Hawaiian sense of place.
Improvements included new decor, artwork and furniture in common areas at both the Four Seasons Resort the Lodge at Koele and the Four Seasons Resort at Manele Bay along with new bar and restaurant concepts at each property.
The most notable new dining option is Nobu Lanai, now open at the Manele Bay property, which features Japanese cuisine reliant on locally sourced produce and seafood.
The hotel also now boasts a new poolside Nobu sushi bar for casual dining during daytime hours.
“The recent enhancements and unique amenity offerings are in line with our commitment to continually improve on the guest experience,” said Tom Roelens, general manager of the Four Seasons Resorts Lanai. "From the innovative culinary experience Nobu Lanai offers to the luxurious design aesthetic of the resorts, the vision remains focused on capturing an authentic and distinct sense of place for our discerning guests.”
Work on the resort improvements began shortly after Larry Ellison, the CEO and founder of Oracle, purchased the island of Lanai, along with the two Four Seasons Resort properties, for a reported $500 million last June.
