Calderon celebrates Cancun's beach restoration

President Felipe Calderon inaugurated Cancun's new beaches recently, joined by Quintana Roo Gov. Felix Gonzalez Canto and other Mexican authorities.

The $71 million project, which began in the fall and was completed in February, restored 6.5 miles of beach stretching from Punta Cancun to Punta Nizuc that was washed away during Hurricane Wilma in 2005.
